Mike grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma, and after a four-year leave of absence at the Rocky Mountain School for Boys, he returned to seek his fortune. With bars on his shoulders and blood in his eyes, he fearlessly faced the onslaught of five o'clock report times, inverted recoveries, mobile tours, and yes, even flying. With Mike's busy schedule of picture-taking and long hours in the dark room, he still made time to complete the flying and academic programs in fine style. His success has bred rumors of his having a friend in a very high place to help him along, A friend, Mike modestly adds, who could help us all.
