First and foremost, we thank everyone who contributed and participated in our 30th reunion class project to sponsor the National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS).

This year's program, "Courage in the Face of Adversity," the 13th NCLS, provided personal experiences for every cadet and for college students from around the country that they are not likely to forget.

With the lead of John Muse, our Class gift provided the symposium a highly effective array of speakers from Retired Gen. Ron Fogleman to those associated with NASA including Gene Kranz from "Failure is Not an Option," to Gerda Klein who provided a riveting account of surviving the Holocaust.

Forums varied in attendance from the entire cadet wing to small, interactive classroom sessions.

From the attached NCLS program brochure to the concluding luncheon on Saturday, the Class of 1973 was recognized as the main contributor to what was certainly the most successful NCLS yet.

As the year's program approaches, February 22-24, 2007, we encourage everyone to participate.

Our Class is truly making a difference. Come see first hand how USAFA continues building leaders of character for the nation under the direction of our classmate Lt. Gen. John Regni.

Again, thank you for you continued support.
