Gentlemen,

Congratulations on a very successful conclusion of the 14th Annual National Character and Leadership Symposium. We “congratulate” you because this annual Character Development Center program is made possible through the financial support and personal commitment of yourselves, members of the Class of 1973. This year’s Symposium was hosted February 22 through 24 and attracted college students and others from throughout the United States.

Your “Class of ’73 Leadership Lecturer” and a Keynote Speaker was Maj. Nichole Malachowski, Class of ’96 and currently “Thunderbird Three” flying right wing in the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron’s Diamond Formation. The major’s photograph and biographical sketch appear on page 16 of the Program (see link below).

Her remarks, on your behalf, focused on “The power of believing in others” and were extremely well received.

These familiar words have never been more appropriate: “You bring great credit upon yourselves and the United States Air Force.” We, at the AOG, are privileged to stand beside you. Thank you for your generosity, your support, and for remaining powerful role models for those who will follow.
